Donald Trump’s officially recorded height is 6 ft 3 in (190.5 cm, or about 191 cm). His White House physician’s May 2026 report lists 75 inches. The document does not describe the height-taking procedure, so it should be cited as an official record without adding an unsupported barefoot-measurement claim.
Trump is the 45th and 47th president of the United States, with a previous career in real estate and television, including The Apprentice.
What does the official height record say?
The May 29, 2026 memorandum from CAPT Sean P. Barbabella, physician to the president, reports the results of Trump’s May 26 examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Under “Vital Statistics,” it lists “Height: 75 inches.” The American Presidency Project at UC Santa Barbara preserves both the text and scans of the original document.
The White House’s April 13, 2025 memorandum, covering the April 11 examination, gives the same height. Agreement between the two records documents the repeated listing; it does not supply details of the measuring method.
| Official record | Height listed | Equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| April 13, 2025 physician memorandum | 75 inches | 6 ft 3 in |
| May 29, 2026 physician memorandum | 75 inches | 6 ft 3 in |
75 inches converts to 190.5 cm. We use about 191 cm as the rounded metric answer. The decimal comes from unit conversion and does not imply a measurement accurate to half a centimetre.
Can photographs confirm his height?
An event photograph can show the setting and the people present. It cannot establish an exact height: positions, posture, perspective and footwear are not controlled. The Walter Reed photograph above documents the 2025 visit; it does not show a height measurement.
For that reason, we base the answer on the dated physician records and do not use photographs to calculate inches or explain conflicting online estimates.
