Jeremy Allen White’s reported height is about 5 ft 7 in (170 cm). That figure comes from GQ’s original interview reporting; it is not a documented barefoot measurement.
White is an American actor known for Lip Gallagher in Shameless, Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in The Bear, and Kerry Von Erich in The Iron Claw.
Where does the 5 ft 7 in figure come from?
In Cam Wolf’s November 13, 2023 GQ profile, the section about The Iron Claw describes White’s height as 5 ft 7 in. White calls himself a “short king” in the same passage, but the numerical figure appears in the reporter’s narration. It should therefore be described as reported height, rather than a direct numerical self-report.
The piece does not explain how his height was measured. 5 ft 7 in converts to 170.18 cm, rounded here to about 170 cm; that arithmetic does not make the original figure more precise.
This full-length event photograph shows White in a different setting from his screen roles. Pose, footwear and camera angle prevent it from establishing an exact height.
His height and The Iron Claw
White plays a professional wrestler in The Iron Claw, which can make the actor’s size a natural question. In GQ’s Actually Me interview, he discusses training for the role and acknowledges that he and the real Kerry Von Erich were different sizes. The dimensions he mentions for the wrestler are not his own height.
