Simone Biles is officially listed at 4 ft 8 in, about 142 cm, by Team USA. This is an athlete-profile figure; the page does not document a barefoot measurement procedure.
The American artistic gymnast competed at the Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympics. Her record through Paris includes 11 Olympic medals, seven of them gold.
What is the official source for Simone Biles’ height?
Team USA’s athlete profile lists 4′8″ under height. NBC Olympics’ profile, updated during Paris 2024, gives the same figure.
4 ft 8 in converts to 142.24 cm, rounded here to about 142 cm. An official listing is a useful source, but it does not by itself establish when, how or in what footwear a measurement was taken.
Her Olympic record
The USA Gymnastics results record lists team, all-around and vault golds, plus floor silver, at Paris 2024. Team USA records her career Olympic total as seven gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
Those results describe her achievements more directly than claims that height alone explains her performance. This profile does not infer rotation speed, injury risk or competitive advantage from her stature.
For competitive context, the Olympic Games channel’s highlights show Biles performing at the Games. The footage is not a height test.
